This privacy policy applies to the CountMe app, which may be listed in app stores as "CountMe: Click, Count, Track" or "Counter: Click and Count" (the "Application") for Android and iOS and distributed through Google Play, the Apple App Store, Huawei AppGallery, and the Amazon Appstore. The Application is provided by Aleksei Samsonov ("Service Provider") as an ad-supported service and is intended for use "AS IS".

The Application may process device and usage data needed to provide ads, measure app usage, diagnose crashes, prevent abuse, and keep the Application reliable. This may include:

• IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, and device identifiers such as the advertising ID;
• device model, operating system version, app version, language, region, and network state;
• app interactions, screens, session information, ad interactions, and consent choices;
• crash logs, stack traces, diagnostic events, and performance signals.

The Application does not collect precise GPS location and does not require you to create an account.

The Application uses Google AdMob to show ads. Depending on your region and choices, AdMob may process advertising identifiers, IP address, device information, approximate location, and ad interaction data to deliver, measure, limit, and protect ads. For advertising services, Google and the Service Provider may each act as an independent data controller for their respective processing activities.

Where consent is required, the Application uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to ask you to accept, reject, or manage advertising and analytics choices. Google Consent Mode communicates those choices to AdMob and Firebase Analytics, including consent states for advertising storage, ad personalization, ad user data, and analytics storage. Personalized ads are shown only where permitted and, where required, after consent. If you do not consent, the Application may show limited ads where permitted.

With your consent where required, the Application uses Firebase Analytics to understand app usage and improve features. Firebase Analytics assigns an app-instance identifier and processes event-level information such as app opens, screen views, session activity, device information, approximate location, and consent state. The Service Provider does not use Analytics to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning you.

Where UMP determines that privacy options are required, you can review or change your choices from the App Information screen, opened with the information icon in the upper-left corner of the main counter-list screen. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. You can also limit advertising identifiers and ad personalization from your device settings.

The Application uses Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose and fix crashes, errors, and stability problems. For this purpose, Crashlytics may process crash time, app version, device model, operating system version, device state, crash stack traces, logs, installation identifiers, and related diagnostic metadata.

The legal basis for Crashlytics processing in the EEA/UK is the Service Provider's legitimate interest in maintaining a stable and secure Application. Google LLC and its applicable affiliates act as processors for this diagnostic processing under the Firebase Data Processing and Security Terms.

Firebase Crashlytics keeps crash stack traces, associated diagnostic data, and installation identifiers for 90 days before beginning removal from live and backup systems. The Service Provider keeps diagnostic data only while it is needed to identify, reproduce, prioritize, and fix an issue.

You have the right to object to Crashlytics processing based on legitimate interests. You can object by contacting privacy@stawd.dev. You can also disable future crash report sending from the App Information screen, opened with the information icon in the upper-left corner of the main counter-list screen. Disabling reports stops future automatic transmission after the next Application launch. Crash information already recorded on your device may remain there and may be transmitted if crash reporting is enabled again. It does not automatically delete reports already transmitted.

Depending on the platform and distribution channel, the Application uses the following third-party services. Google acts as a processor for Firebase Customer Data where stated in its data processing terms and may act as an independent controller for advertising and other processing described in Google's privacy terms:

• Google Play Services
• AdMob
• Google Analytics for Firebase
• Firebase Crashlytics

• Consent: personalized advertising, Firebase Analytics, and related device storage where consent is required by law.
• Legitimate interests: Application security, fraud prevention, essential operation, and crash diagnostics.
• Legal obligation: processing required to comply with applicable laws and binding lawful requests.

Data may be shared with Google LLC, Google Ireland Limited, their applicable affiliates and subprocessors, and the advertising partners identified in the UMP consent form. These recipients support advertising, analytics, diagnostics, security, and legal compliance.

Google and its subprocessors may process data in countries outside your country or the EEA/UK. Where required, transfers rely on an adequacy decision, the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension, or Standard Contractual Clauses and applicable UK safeguards. Contact privacy@stawd.dev to request more information about the safeguards that apply.

Crashlytics data is retained as described above. Firebase Analytics event data is retained for 2 months. User data is retained for 14 months, and this period resets when the user has new activity. These settings do not affect standard aggregated reports, which may remain available for longer without the underlying user-level and event-level data. Consent choices are retained until you change them, they expire, or they are reset. Google and advertising partners retain data for the periods described in their own policies. Other personal data is kept only as long as needed for legal compliance, security, or resolving a request or dispute.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, port, or object to processing of your personal data. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. The Service Provider normally responds to a valid request within one month, subject to extensions permitted by applicable law. Contact privacy@stawd.dev to exercise these rights.

You can stop future data collection by uninstalling the Application. You can also use device settings to reset or limit advertising identifiers and app settings, where available, to adjust consent and crash reporting.

If you are in the EEA, you may lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in the country where you live or work, or where the alleged infringement occurred. A list is available from the European Data Protection Board. If you are in the UK, you may contact the Information Commissioner's Office.

The Application is not directed to children under 13, and the Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. Where local law requires parental authorization for a child's consent, the Service Provider does not knowingly rely on that consent without the required authorization. Personalized ads are not shown where the Service Provider or Google knows that a user is under 18 and applicable law or advertising policy prohibits such personalization. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact privacy@stawd.dev.

The Service Provider uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data processed in connection with the Application.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating this page and, where required, requesting renewed consent or providing additional notice.

This privacy policy is effective as of 2026-08-08.
